Radersburg..my last stop

I am in Radersburg for my final week doing my final VBS for the summer. I fly home on Friday and will be landing at 3:24! I am excited, but sad at the same time. I have made some awesome friends this summer that I will miss greatly, but I am ready to see my mama and my daddy! :D I am ready to be a senior, but I am NOT ready for school.. I don't know... But I am ready to be home and to eat at El Charro! Radersburg is a very small town, it doesn't even have a post office! It's INSANE! The VBS is a small VBS, but it going to be a GREAT week. I can already tell. There are only 5 kids, but I can feel the Lord moving in Radersburg. Please pray for us this week. Please pray that I have a safe trip home. :) And please pray for Montana

Church Camp

This past week at Camp was amazing! You could feel God's presence. I was a counselor to high school girls which was really interesting since I'm only 8 months older than them, but they respected me. They listened to me and did what I said. We shared our testimonies at the camp fire. We also got to see some of the youth we worked with earlier in the summer. The Butte kids and Boulder kids were there and we had a lot of fun with them. We also got to see a lot of the missionaries we met at orientation this summer. It was an amazing week. Tomorrow we are headed to Glacier. I am very excited about seeing the beauty of Glacier! :)
3 missionaries in West Yellowstone were in a really bad wreck. They are all brothers and are all in the hospital. One of them may not make it. Please pray for them and their family. Please continue to pray for all of us missionaries in Montana and continue to pray for Montana.

God Bless,
Maggie

it may be a while

As it gets closer to time to come home, I will be in an area with limited Internet access. Actually this coming week, I will have no Internet at the youth camp here. They say it's in the middle of nowhere, but that it's beautiful. On Thursday I will go back to Townsend and go to glacier, and after that I will be in Radersburg, which is smaller than the smallest town I can think of. They say there is no Internet access there either. I just thought I'd let y'all know what's coming up. :) VBS this ween went amazing, we had three salvations I am so excited about what God has in store for Butte in the near future! I can sense that he's going to move in Butte in a huge way. Yesterday I went rock climbing, repelling, and zip lining! It was so fun! Please continue to pray for Montana and us as we finish up the summer.

God Bless,
Maggie

I am so excited to see what else god has planned to do this week. Next week we will be at a youth camp doing whatever they need us to do. I am so excited about the rest of this summer. I miss you guys.
Please continue to pray for us and Montana.

Butte... :D

Hello from Butte!

My daddy informed me yesterday that he was counting down the days to my return in red on his calendar..He told me that I had 23 days.. And I didn't even realize I had been gone for that long at all! WOW! Now that I think about it, it makes sense. I've been in so many cities: Missoula, Wolf Creek, Boulder, Townsend, Three Forks, Belgrade/Bozeman, Helena, Livingston, and now Butte, west Yellowstone... I only have two more cities left! It seems so crazy to me! So I only have 22 more days... I can't decide if that makes me sad..or excited
Anyways... Butte has had the biggest VBS that we've been apart of this summer. They have more than 40 kids! Which is AMAZING for a Montana VBS! I am running Recreation, which a great break from teaching preschoolers! :) Recreation is different and has it's challenges, but it is also really fun!
Butte is the most different city from Georgia we've been to this summer. It is a very interesting city with tons of history. the street names made my day! Butte used to be a mining town, so the street names are: Gold, Silver, Steel, Platinum, Diamond, etc. I just can't help but laugh at the street names every day! :D
Please pray for us and for VBS in Butte. As well as a statewide "great awakening" since Montana never had a "Great Awakening" like the rest of the United States did. All of them have somehow managed to skip Montana...

God Bless,
Maggie

I'm back..

I'm sorry for the long pause in my blogs. This past week was a very busy week for me. We worked from sunrise to sunset. We did a six hour VBS and after that we advertised and passed out paperwork for their block party. Big Sky fellowship was a very hard week for us, but we made it through the week. It ended up being a great week, and the kids really loved everything about the VBS week. We got a chance to go to Yellowstone yesterday, and today when we arrived in Butte we got a chance to go the the nationwide folk festival. The festival moves around every three years, and this is the biggest thing tat happens in Butte all year long. This is the second time they've hosted it. After Butte it will go to another area of the U.S. entirely. Pray for the VBS this week in Butte

God Bless,
Maggie

The 4th

Hey y'all,
I hope everyone has a wonderful Independence day! We get to celebrate the fourth by going to a community potluck with our supervisor. After that we get to help them clean up, and then we're getting ready to go to a rodeo. At the rodeo, we will possibly meet up with the group that is working in Missoula. Stephanie will be making balloon animals, while i face paint. I am very excited for this Independence day. I can already feel God working for tomorrow. I think it will be the best fourth I've ever experienced! After the rodeo, we will watch fireworks. I am very excited about this, because Montana is known for their firework displays! I heard this rodeo has a huge firework display! I hope y'all have a wonderful Independence day. Please continue to pray for us in Montana. Especially one missionary in particular. Trey Fischer is from Wesson, Mississippi. His grandfather died recently and he was close to his grandfather. Please pray for him. He returned back to Montana two days ago, he only went home for the funeral, because he believes his work is here in Montana. Please pray for him, because I know he is going through a really tough time right now.

God bless,
Maggie
